About Ageless Living Cold Lake
Ageless Living in Cold Lake was originally established in 2012, as CLMC Skin Wellness within the Cold Lake Medical Clinic. In November of 2015, CLMC Skin Wellness moved to their downtown Cold Lake location, where they initiated the re-branding to Ageless Living–continuing their offering of trusted treatments with the latest technology to patients in the Lakeland region. Ageless Living began in Victoria, BC, performing a variety of medical and cosmetic treatments to enhance the quality of life of their patients.

Our Professionals
CHARLENE
MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN & SENIOR SKINCARE EXPERT
Charlene graduated in 2000 from MC College, Edmonton, as an Aesthetician. In 2012 she graduated with honors from the well-acclaimed European Institute of Esthetics, as a Medical Aesthetician. Subsequently, Charlene has also returned to the European Institute of Esthetics and obtained her Certified Clinical Laser Technician designation, as well as specialized certifications in microneedling and dermaplaning treatments.
Charlene joined the Ageless Living team in 2012 and has been an integral part of our team from the beginning. She has extensive knowledge and experience with regard to creating customized treatment plans. Charlene persists with continuing education to bring you the latest in medical aesthetics and best practice protocols.
JILL
MEDICAL AESTHETICIAN & MARKETING ASSISTANT
Jill graduated with honors in 2016 from the European Institute of Esthetics as a Medical Aesthetician and a Certified Clinical Laser Technician. She is also certified in Lip Blushing and Microblading.
Jill joined the Ageless Living team in 2018, performing an array of aesthetic treatments in our clinic, specializing in laser hair removal, microneedling, chemical peels, and permanent makeup treatments. As one of our skincare knowledge experts, Jill provides patients with the advice they need for safe and results-driven skincare regimens. With Jill’s wealth of knowledge in medical aesthetics, eye for creativity, and attention to detail - she also works behind the scenes as our marketing assistant.
JOLAYNE
RADIOFREQUENCY TREATMENT SPECIALIST & CLINIC NURSE
Jolayne graduated in 2011 from Grant MacEwan University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She has worked in the Lakeland for over 10 years now, where she has found her passion in women’s health and the advancement of medicine with modern day treatment options. She loves patient teaching and being an advocate for best practices and quality patient care.
Jolayne joined the Ageless Living team in 2021 to perform revolutionary radiofrequency modalities such as our Morpheus8, Votiva and Forma treatments. She is excited to continue on her learning journey of all things anti-aging and wellness with the Ageless Living team.
LISA
CLINIC MANAGER & MEDICAL OFFICE ASSISTANT
Lisa graduated in 2015 from Mactech Distance Education, Nova Scotia, as a Medical Office Assistant. She has since continued her education by receiving a diploma in Healthcare Management from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
In 2019, Lisa joined the Ageless Living team. Lisa is our Clinic Manager, she assists Dr. Dekker and in managing our team and day-to-day operations. Lisa’s professionalism, reliability, leadership, and approachability have made her an excellent addition to Ageless Living’s management team. Lisa also continues to greet our patients when they come through our doors. As our Clinic Manager and MOA, she ensures that we provide the most confidential services while abiding by the standards that protect a patient’s right to privacy.
MARISSA
COOLSCULPTING TECHNICIAN & CLINIC NURSE
Marissa graduated from Portage College in 2017 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She has practiced in many clinical settings including in mental health, acute care, home care and public health.
Marissa joined the Ageless Living team in January 2021 and is passionate about working in a field of nursing that helps to support the confidence of so many individuals. As our lead CoolSculpting provider, she is very experienced with the consultation and treatment processes involved with addressing undesired fat tissue that is often diet and exercise resistant. Marissa also performs other treatments in the practice such as laser hair removal, Vitamin Drip IV’s and Alumier MD chemical peels. She is excited to continue expanding her skills and knowledge with the Ageless Living team to help patients on their journey to their - Best Self, at Any Age.
MEGAN
AESTHETIC INJECTOR & CLINIC NURSE
Megan is a Licensed Practical Nurse who graduated from Portage College in 2019. She has experience working in Long Term Care and Acute care in both Alberta and British Columbia. Ever since nursing school, Megan has always had a passion for dermatology & aesthetic medicine and knew she wanted to pursue a career in this field.
Megan joined the Ageless Living team in 2021 and works closely with Dr. Dekker assisting in medical procedures such as excisions and biopsies. She is also the main provider of our Therapeutic Botox treatments as well as non-surgical mole removals. Additionally, Megan works alongside our cosmetic nurse injectors, performing both cosmetic Botox and filler treatments.
PAULETTE
Dental Hygienist & TEETH WHITENING SPECIALIST
Paulette graduated in 1994 from the University of Alberta as a Registered Dental Hygienist. She brings 25 years of clinical dental hygiene experience to her patients every day. As a Registered Dental Hygienists, she has 4 years of University training in the care of teeth and oral health, providing the clinical judgement to safely and effectively give you the brighter smile you’ve been desiring.
Paulette joined the Ageless Living team in 2021 to provide our patients with professional teeth whitening services, although she has worked alongside our team for a decade with her dental hygiene private practice. Paulette is a long-time resident of Cold Lake, a mother of 5 children, and has the most infectious and memorable laugh.
SARAH
Medical Office Assistant & Public Engagement Coordinator
Sarah graduated from Metro Community College in 2004, Sarah brings a wealth of certifications in relationship management, conflict resolution, and health and wellness.
Joining Ageless Living in early 2024, her warm smile is the first to greet our patients, ensuring confidentiality and exceptional service. Sarah's passion for health and wellness, combined with her community involvement in teaching fitness classes, volunteering, and playing baseball, makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
MEGAN
OPERATIONS CONSULTANT
Megan graduated with honors in 2011 from Georgian College, Ontario, as a practical nurse. She has completed extensive training and certification in the fields of dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She is qualified as a Certified Management Professional, and a Certified Aesthetic Consultant and is currently undertaking a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
Megan serves as our Operations Consultant, assisting our team with the vision of providing unrivaled products and services while utilizing the concepts of the "Improving Your Business Through a Culture of Health" program from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
DR. JAKES DEKKER
DERMATOLOGY EXPERT & MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Dekker, MD, graduated in 1991 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa, as a general physician. He completed a post-graduate diploma in anesthesia at the University of Pretoria before immigrating to Canada in 1998. In 2012, he received certification in dermoscopy from Cardiff University, Wales, followed by a post-graduate diploma in dermatology in 2014 and has received special merits for knowledge in light-emitting technologies.
He is also a member of the Canadian Society of Phlebology, where he has completed a post-graduate fellowship. Being the only practitioner in the Lakeland with additional education in dermatology and vascular diseases, Dr. Dekker's current work is mainly in the assessment and treatment of skin diseases, leg veins, and aesthetic medicine.
